I want to use a DC-DC Step converter for a flashlight, to avoid dimming with a depleting battery:
("boost"-switch is shown, light switch, not shown, is intended to go between the "f" wire segment.)
The boost converter will output 9v for a short time after the switching.
Will this circuit work or do i need to protect the battery against it? (diodes or just a 3 position switch? or is there a better way that is more battery friendly than diodes?)
