LvW, I can tell you that it oscillates. It appears as a fairly clean sine wave on the scope but I'm not sure how to work out the distortion for THD.

I was hoping to compare the signal from my oscillator with the signal from a waveform generator. Although the frequency seems to be varying slightly which made it impossible on the scope. It's varying between 45kHz and say 45.6kHz.

 

If you want stability, you will have to run it on a well-regulated power supply. If you want low HD, then add the fifth-stage buffer that I showed in my LTSpice sim.
