"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"

Have to include Gov shutdown, Planes as I understand are in the same boat, continue to run while both sides of the isle's get their public hand out.

I think both sides shouldn't get paid and shouldn't be allowed to go home until one of them or both blink.

kv

Edit: I really don't care which, both sides piss me off these days.

a friend who went there for a polar bear sight seeing trip. He needed to balance himself out after a penguin cruise from Chile to Antarctica.
Gophert being totally serious it just makes me like claustrophobic thinking on how small world really is:eek:!

Anyhow Fort Severn is settlement at mouth of Severn river:)! Also advance tnx for NOT telling me to say _delta_:rolleyes:!

Also just to be clear, idiotically there are two totally distinct streams called _Severn River_ in Ont so o/c I'm talking about the Northwestern one:)

Just sayin'

I hope it's only temporary downturn and not beginning of a trend:(?
Overall forums slow down or speed up and it's an interesting phenomena. If everyone visiting lived in the same location I would attribute it to the weather but membership here seems to be global so as we in my little neighborhood have the gloom and doom of grey skies and cold those down under are moving into summer and those in the southern US are enjoying mild weather. Beats me but if someone with access to forum attendance numbers were to plot them it looks like a giant sine wave with peaks and valleys. Nothing new but I don't know what drives it.

There are probably fairly widespread factors, such as major holidays and semester start/stop dates, especially if we were to take into account that our membership is not uniformly spread out around the globe. It would be interesting to see a sequence of heat maps of our active membership over the course of a year.

Even the metal shaping forum I'm on is really slow. They are even planning next years national meet online now just to have posting, never saw that before.
