Simulate cat5 or cat6 cable with LTSpice

No it's not. I'm breaking the cable into pieces. I also uploaded you the equivalent circuit - post #11. That post shows an equivalent circuit of a cable with a shield with 1024 sections. I used LTspice's ability to use an array.

Hello Bordodynov!! tks for your help!!
but using the test circuit with the Ltc2862 I noticed that the signal is not attenuated by using a cable length of 600 meters at a frequency of one Mhz. Are you sure Len is in meters and not feet?

the signals i consider are ltc2862 transmitter input and ltc2862 receiver output. From datasheet with a 1Mhz signal I can transmit up to 200 meters maximum

thanks Bordodynov, can you explain me the parameters you used? r, cws etc (
the parameters you used are those of cat5?) ... the component you used on ltspice to simulate twisted cables what is it called? thanks again for your help

What did you use for "twisted_pair.lib", LTSPICE complains this is missing when I try to use the twisted pair symbol.
