Couldn't you just mount the float switch upside down?
We don't know what kind of float switch the TS has. IF the TS has a float switch like that pictured in post #13 then mounting it in any orientation will only result in turning the pump on when the float tilts up and rolls the contact ball to the inner contacts completing a circuit which then activates an ejector pump (sump pump). It also offers no hysteresis. The pump may cycle frequently resulting in premature pump failure.
