Found these tracks in my back yard. I attribute them to the infamous chupacabra.

Front foot (I assume): looks like a small monkey handprint; 3 small fingers and a thumb...

Hind foot: 5 pointed toes fanning out in a star pattern. looks like a bird foot with 5 toes; maybe a double stamped bird print but the first pic looks noting like a bird print

Chupacabra or alien or escaped lab experiment, I'm not sure.

Can you find Las Olas and A1A on google earth.
John our expert on google earth is no longer on
this Forum. The location is in Fort,Lauderdale on the
beach, across from the Elbo Room where the movie
(Where the Boys Are-with Connie Frances was filmed).
You are becoming the guy to go too.
I still remember saying, paid to travel you had to know your
stuff, then you remarked about your skype ability.

I like cats, but I can only take them in small doses, as in one or two at time.

Tiger should have been some little girls pet, he likes being carried around. Of course, he weighs in around 22 pounds.

This is a picture of me from over 5 years ago. I guess it is time for a new one, I've lost over 25 pounds since then. I was dressed for DeMolay.

Sheesh. I think I've lost more hair since then, dagnabit.

Now that is a picture with a face. Not some blurry picture from say the middle of some ocean. I can not picture me. How it can be so hard to show a face picture. You show your face everyday in public anyway.

My first tattoo was the Jack Daniels bar code... I have two cats. Mother and daughter. They are named Carmen and Electra...:)
on the topics of willie nelson, jack daniels, tattoos, and being from Norway; I was surprised to find that Norwegians (some of them) listen to country music. It's in a language I don't understand and they don't call it "country" but that's what it is. And, in canada (my experience is limited to Alberta) they wear cowboy boots and drive big trucks and do pretty much everything your typical rednecks do. Coming from the southern U.S. I always though this stuff was unique to my area, but found later that there is no such thing as unique. Also regarding the "everything is bigger in texas" saying; pick just about anything you consider "big" in Texas and you can probably find it bigger in Alberta.

Also, speaking of tattoos, here's me getting a tattoo in the Philippines by a guy using a tattoo gun made from bent spoon, some hose clamps, and a windshield wiper motor.

Here's me after skydiving (back when I had money to blow on such things)

and incase I haven't thrown my face around enough, here's 2 more:

My wife & I:

My daughter & I:

Guess you have to live with guys staring at you wife...

You are quite cheap:rolleyes:...By the way. The whisky I like best is Cutty Sark. It is not the most exotic brand but I like it. Have not tasted it in some time, then I think of it. How is your LED project going Jens?
What can I say...

I got a good friend in Jack, and occasionally his cousin Jim Beam is tagging along...

My LED project is moving a long just fine, thank you. I think I will settle for the 555, transistor/relay setup. I know it's not the most efficient set-up, but it's all at hand.

@nerdegutta

can you scan your barcode? does it ring up jack daniels? I'm curious. had a friend with a barcode tattoo. It wasn't a specific barcode. he just told the artist he wanted a barcode & the artist drew it. He said he was curious and had it scanned at the store; rang up as pampers diapers

I had similar thoughts. She is pretty, as is your daughter, you can tell them I said so. You think you have problems now, wait until the pimple faced boy shows up and states, "Mr. Strantor, I've come to date your daughter." (and your daughter is excited about it!). You will find this form very handy about then.

Hey, you can always redesign it, and make a new one later. It is not like the parts are expensive.

I used to drink in my 20's. Funny thing, after getting sick and praying to the porcelain god off of every major brand of liquor none of them taste good anymore. I'm not quite a teetotaler, but close. I simply don't drink anymore, there ain't no fun in it. Just as well, I've had several alcoholics in my recent ancestry, and it doesn't go well with diabetes.

Nerdegutta, do you do continuous sparring? I prefer realistic sparring myself, just because you get hit doesn't mean a match stops. It's not like the bad guys are going to stop if they tag you. I really need to get back into training.

When I started martial arts I gained 10 pounds (went from 255 to 265) but lost several inches off my waist. I guess fat floats. Anyhow, even though I never developed what would be called a 6 pack I had a very hard (but large) stomach.

As a blue belt I would let the young bucks (18 years olds typically) have free side kicks to my gut to teach them a basic lesson in physics. I wasn't the one who bounced. My instructor thought it was funny. Because I don't move sideways fast as I would like I've developed pretty good elbow blocks, you are risking your ankles if you throw a kick at my midriff.

One of the tenets of my style (Tay Son Nang, a Southern Kung Fu style) is power comes from the ground. We weren't shy about stealing techniques from other styles either. I have to admit I am not a fan of tournament style fighting, where one hit and the fights over. We are fans of the block and counter, where sometimes you take a hit to allow a better return.

Yes, I do. Our rounds are 3 minutes long and we do 10 to 15 rounds. Currently I'm on a diet. I will try to see if I can get down to 63kg. If I do that, I might start competing again. Kickboxing light contact, that is. Or as I say, "We go hard, until the referee tells us to ease up". Then it's light contact. :D But its continuous, 1 min break after each round.
