I haven't been able to buy parts locally since the Radio/TV repair shops went belly up long ago. Well Radio Shack was there, maybe, in an emergency or the local Electrical supply distributor for industrial/commercial/residential stuff. Auto parts shops also carry some wire and connectors. Don't drive anymore since I have lost all the feeling in my lower legs and can't feel the pedals. So I have to shop online or get my wife or son to drive me or buy for me. Amazon has most stuff, at a price but with fast delivery. And once I found it there or at one of the big parts companies, I price it around on the net to get the best deal you can with acceptable delivery. If I can plan ahead or don't mind the long delivery there is AliX. YMMV

Sorry the Covids-19 is so active. I'm currently overnighting in my motorhome a couple hours west of DFW, and will be heading through DFW tomorrow after a quick stop at Walmart. I'm trying to get back to Missouri to weather thru this virus. At least I've managed to stock up on most supplies.

By the way, 1Chance and I have come to yge end of our song. Divorce will be final April 13th. We needed each other a great deal in the beginning, and we are both much better off because of it ... but it was time to call it a wrap. 1Chance will be living in Arizona in a 55+ community that we found last year. It's really perfect for her, and it will extend her life significangly.

I have wanted to wander through the wonderland that is our USA for years, and I finally have the means and equipment to do so. I have a few time-critical activities to accomplish, and then I will simply enjoy the journey.

Bunker or no bunker, how long would one survive without supplies?
What kind of world would one encounter when eventually one has to come out?

After a year or more in that bunker eating the same canned and dried food with stale water, when someone finally opens it to find out why they haven't emerged, they probably will be either crazy, died of boredom or from strangling each other. A glitzy cell is still a cell...

I don't think I've heard ayone suggest drinking will help with this virus. If that is for real, they would be good candidates for the Darwin awards.

A lot of people think drinking to excess will solve their problems. I don't have a reference, but read somewhere that people thought drinking alcohol or hot beverages could kill the virus.

I also read something about hot baths and warm weather killing the virus. But few people could take baths in water hot enough to kill viruses (on their skin).

What others fail to see is that we already know it doesn't solve our problems, But it sure does make it easier to deal with them.
I don't drink cause I have to or am a alcoholic, I drink because I like it. I put down drinking for over 5 months just a little while back.
No withdrawals.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. Just think, when they wake up in the morning that is the best they will feel for the entire day.
