Yes....re-do the conductor electron DC flow measurements. Most call it drift current. Use electric and magnetic detectors (axial placed) and see if you can map the conductor fields during flow. Especially during start up current and shut down current.

See if you can detect any angular electron movement along with the linear movement of the charge in the conductor.

The angular flow component should only happen when current is changing.
