Hello,

Salecom T80-R ON-ON-ON (datasheet and images attached)

I cant find this switch anywhere, I have contacted salecom they mentioned they have it but when I asked for a few switches I havent heard back.

The switch I need it here, but its sold out and I havent had a response to my emails

This switch is from my Peavey JSX guitar aamp (now discontinued) it toggles between three distortion settings.

I found something similar but the switch is too short and does not have the outer security cage.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can find it or remedy this? Id rather not solder extension leads onto the legs.

I think he needs threaded panel mount.
The switch has three positions. on/off/on
DPDT
I could not find salecom or the part number.

 

Hi Ron,
The image on the link he posted shows only 3 pins, so assume OPDT switch. ie toggle centre Off.
He should be able to support the non thread section.?

no it is 6-pin with 4 more pins to anchor "security cage". the thread is large 11.9mm. i would check if that portion is removable (does it slide off easily?). if so, the switch inside is just a standard one, and probably without thread.

Agreed it is 6 pin DPDT, I was using the crappy image on the link, not the actual d/s pinout image

This like is not right either but. What I pointed to is for connecting wires to not PCB mount. It is on-off-on!

seem to be a direct cross but it too is without the V25 cage...

Take a look side by side. I bought a switch I thought would work however it is too short and wont peek through the front panel.

On the right is the original switch (longer / taller)
On the left, its much shorter

I've had such a hard time trying to find a replacement. If it's tall enough, I would use a non-threaded version.

yes, that matches electrically but it has different size bushing, longer lever.
