I have a lot of threads I started on AAC. The numbers are even higher than post count suggests, since I am active in off topic where posts don't count.

The search feature will let me search for posts I've made, but not threads I've started.

Suggestions?

 

Maybe "Search titles only" ?

 

Good thought, but it didn't work. Selecting "Display results as theads" helps, but you get every threa you posted in.

Did you try the advanced search?

There you can also restrict the search to a certain forum.
Also you can tick the display results as threads option.

Yep, that's the one. But it shows everyone, not just one thread starter.

It was an option on the old package, but seems to be missing here.

It looks like that link is restricted to 200 threads

PS I have stretched the option to 1000 threads, now all your threads are shown with the link given

That is closer, but it doesn't restrict the search to one forum.

I found what I was looking for several days ago, but I would like to be able to navigate here better.

 

I am in the same boat too u know.
Before I can just view all the threads I answered with a click....now not so much.

 

I would like to revive this old thread. We really need the thread started by feature. I am looking for an old thread I started but can't remember the context.

This was a really useful feature, I don't know why the new forum would not have it.

 

Spoke too soon. It is the little drop sdown arrow in the upper right of the search bar, threads started by me.

 

I had a little trouble finding it, but here it is...

 

OK so how do you search threads posted by someone else? Do you use threads posted by me as a model and just modify the URL?
