Hello,
I am new here on this site, so excuse my simple mindless questions.
There is a Varistor or MOV that has the marking of V7221U.
From what I have found it is or was made by Panasonic.
However, I can't find that particular part available.
So, I am looking for an alternative or equivalent to replace a couple that
were blasted by mother nature.
Here is a picture of the part.

Any hints would be most helpful and appreciated.

Thank you very much!! The Cross Reference Chart was not something that I had
in my head to remember. Now I got it!!

FWIW I posted my question on 1/7/24 (Yesterday) I just thought a little bit ago;
"I wonder if there is a list of how many (people) had read my post??"
So I logged on here and scrolled down and there was your response!!
THEN MY E-Mail DINGED a NEW MESSAGE!!
I checked and it was notification that a message was posted on "ALL ABOUT CIRCUITS"

Some days the BRAIN does weird things!!!

Again that for the input. Now my search will move forward.

There were a couple dozen views before I responded. So the thread was being read, but no one had anything to offer. You don't get any notifications (thankfully) when your thread is only read.



I use the old blue interface. The orange one is hard on my eyes...

I didn't notice your post when it was new. I didn't have anyything better to do and did a search of unanswered posts and saw your thread.
