Hi,
I would like to ask if anyone has the LTSpice model of this mosfet because I need to simulate it with LTSpice .. but I could not find it online.
If you do not have this specific model ... I kindly ask you to attach me another ltspice model of a mosfet very similar to the RFP30N06.

Thanks!

You have the text of the mode in the datasheet. What would be wrong with entering the text from the datasheet to make your own version of a model. You might learn something.

In the datasheet there is this page:

Should I copy all these writings to a text file, import it into LTSpice and click on SUBCKT to create the component?
It is not clear to me how to interpret all this text and if I need all of it

hi luca,
This is a cir copy of that d/s text, try it, let me know how it goes.
Delete the .txt extension, it was used to enable an upload

BTW: I assume you know how to create an asy file from that cir text.??

hi luca,
This is what I see.
NOTE: Add the missing '}' at the end of the line ESCL

Thank you! Most kind.

So was it enough to copy all the lines containing in the datasheet (screenshot of my post #3)?
I dragged the .txt file into LTSpice and created the symbol (right click on SUBCKT) .. am I forgetting something or did I do everything?

I noticed that on the component datasheet (see my post #3) the schematic shows pin 2 drain, pin 3 source and 1 Gate ... am I wrong?
Hi luca,
My demo circuit was a based on the model numbers, I suggest you try a test circuit using the 2, Drain , 3 Source, I would be interested in seeing the result.
Please post a copy, so I can correct my circuit.

@luca290799
Tried the 2, Drain , 3 Source, not working.

Here the simulation using the 2 Gate, 1 Drain and 3 Source:

hi luca,
This is my version using my original pin assignments.

Try using a 10V Date pulse drive on your circuit with a high current load on your version

I'm not sure what happened but your plots to me come out using the 2 Drain , 1 Gate and 3 Source configuration ... that is as stated on the datasheet (and not as you attached in post #5). Anyway, no problem.

I think we have it solved.
