well actually I just buy all kinds of parts because I cant wait 2 months for their arrival when I need it.

From my experience, the color is indicative of the manufacturer not the size. Some have 2.54mm/.1' pin spacing and some 3.08mm/.2". Ali doesn't show pdfs. I select what I need for the circuit then find the pdf on what Ali has to see if it matches. Check coil V, # of contacts, latching, size, rating, etc. Beware that similar spec relays may have different pinouts! More than once I received the wrong part from Ali because I didn't double check their part# against an online pdf. Caveat Emptor dealing with Ali especially with the long delivery time and forget about returns. But their prices usually can't be beaten.

 

All of that type of relay have the same mounting problem…that being the common pin is directly centered to the coil pins with a small offset, unfortunately there is no hole there in a pre-drilled PCB.

I have several useless to me 5 pin relays.... No, they won't fit a breadboard.

 

I found 5, 12 and 24 volts on aliexpress.
I hope these fits better so I wont have to drill. (i might have to go buy a small battery drill machine)

Solder some 22 gauge solid wire to the pins…

 

Try and fit an octal base realy on a breadboard. That was all I ever used designing 460V motors w/ 120V control circuits. They used the same 8pin chassis mounted socket that 8 pin Vacuum tubes were designed for.

Spoken like a guy who thinks outside the box. In a pinch yes just like we used to do with damaged DIP pins when chips were expensive and hard to come by.
