I am trying to do a simulation for a MPPT circuit with synchronous buck converter and resistor load. I am done with the control part but I didnt quite understand the solar panel modeling. My estimated PV panel should be 600W (60 V 10 A at MPP) maybe this one is a close choice : https://jinkosolarcdn.shwebspace.com/uploads/JKM625-650N-78HL4-BDV-F9-EN.pdf

I dont need detailed adjustments such as temperature or cell by cell control. I just need irradiance control and IV characteristics, so I think I dont need a complex model. Can anyone help me on this if possible? And the Irradiance control doesn't have to be at the same time during the simulation I am okay if its just be changeable for each different simulation.

hi,
This should help, check out the n parameter, also adjust Isc current to adjust the available 'sunshine'
Do not adjust the other settings

@kmesne2 Post your circuit when ready, we can give it a run.

Hi km,
This series of simulation data closely matches the 650 panel.
n = number of panels, which sets the Voc and Current available on load.
I have chosen 95 which matches the Vload and Wattage. The d/s states 156.
Isc represents the Sunshine intensity.
