Hi guys,
Got an Acer V227Q monitor (AUO T215HVN05 panel) here with a weird issue. Already replaced the LVDS flat cable and the mainboard, but nothing changed. I'm guessing it's a T-CON problem.
It shows vertical lines that pick up the color of whatever is on that part of the screen, and the pixels kind of freeze. The lines seem to follow the image being displayed, really weird stuff. This happens every 2 seconds or so. One thing I noticed: if I drop the refresh rate from 75Hz to 50Hz, the problem slows down, but doesn't completely go away.
I couldn't pinpoint the exact component failing. Does anyone have any suggestions on which T-CON voltages or test points I should be checking with my multimeter?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
