A pulse generator connected to an oscilloscope, with impedance of 1MΩ // 25pF via a 2m long 50Ω coaxial cable. On the oscilloscope you will find a graph, attached jpg. What is the pulse generator emf and internal resistance and voltage amplitude of the pulse on the cable?

@Picbuster In the Homework Help forum, standard procedure is to ask students to describe their understanding and/or show their best effort before giving pointers. They learn more that way and it's less likely to be considered cheating.

Zin=1MΩ, Z0=50Ω, Zin>>Z0 => Γ=1
voltage amplitude of the pulse on the cable:
V0=E*(Z0/(Z0+Rs))
interpret
my interpretation of the graph is E=5, have I interpreted right?pulse.jpg
