Then you don't need R6 and the +12v would be on pin1 of J1., no +12L
The R6 is to avoid the AMS1117 of handling the power dissipation. I was suggested to use it because it is an LDO. If it was a buck converter, then it wouldn't be a problem. But as it is an LDO, then the resistor is a good help for the AMS1117.

The +12L was because Kicad was complaining about AMS1117 pin being an input pin and not being able to see the power input!

Hello.

All this time and I still haven't finished this, yes. Between waiting for microcontrollers to be available, waiting for components to arrive from Aliexpress, etc, I couldn't buy the microcontroller I had in mind. They told me that it would only be available for 2022 so I had to change to another STM32 chip with different packaging, etc so I had to change the PCB design etc, and now I have one question about 2 pins I'm not sure to what they should be connected.

This chip has 2 pins, VBAT and VDDUSB. These two are to be connected to VDD??? Or simply put there 2 "Non-Connected" symbols?1624998196538.png

Ok, I have redone the schematics to try to respect what I see in the datasheet.

Can someone tell me if the datasheet is respected as best as it can be respected in terms of decoup/filtering caps for the power pins of this chip, taking into account the differences there are between the datasheet schematic and the symbol I have in Kicad1625096199311.png1625096221129.png

I mean, VDDA and Vref pins are separated in the datasheet but they show up on the same pins in Kicad symbol for the power unit of the chip.

Ok, I ended up changing the symbol pin 24 name from VDDA/Vref+ to simply VDD because according to the datasheet, there is only one VDDA and 2 VDD.

So, I changed the original symbol pin 24 name from VDDA/Vref+ to VDD

So, for the filtering part, this is my circuit:
