Can any one identify the smd component here? It looks like a transistor, which drives LED.
By the way, this is on a treadmill controller board, where a series of such SMDs, together with associated 101 resistors are fried!

 

Another photo (not good resolution though) on the component layout. W04 59 is the series of components marked as Q, and resistors are 101. Chip is a LS373 latch. together they drive a LED bar graph...

 

Yes, that is probably a transistor.

 

It's a SOT (small outline transistor)
Just go through the file smt nomenclature(google it)

 

Thanks Abhilash. That's a SOT, but smt nomenclature doc does not reveal its identity. In other words, I do not think I can just replace it with another SOT randomly. I need the surface markings decoded or find an equivalent to replace.

 

i don't know the exact part number, but you can check this part mpn- BC847B(mfr-NXP).
