Many moons ago I used to be in a band, playing Bass guitar ... we got to be quite good, actually, although we never performed in public.

Anyway, I once used a supposedly silicon-based lubricant/cleaner on a couple of noisy pots in my amplifier, and things got better at first but then they got worse after a couple of days!

I have no experience with the Deoxit thingy being discussed here. But my advice would be to use it first on one or two of the most bothersome pots in your device and test the result for at least a couple of days before spraying the entire thing.

As a side not, I would spray the pot's inside first and then rotate it several times from zero to max to make sure that its wiper gets to clean the whole length of its track.
