I normally wouldn't link to WaPo, paywall plus they rarely report news that goes against the "narrative". Here is a right-leaning summary if you're interested. Beware the coming Alpacalypse!Gotta pay to view the article…….sounds very promising hopefully.

The person that made that post (which was NOT cmartinez) requested that it be moved to the thread that they had meant to post it to.I would like to know why the moderators (or a moderator) memory-holed @cmartinez's post regarding bird flu & eggs, and my reply.
Yes, I replied that it was too far off topic for this thread, but I don't like their habit arbitrarily (and, capriciously!) removing posts without explanation, especially in my threads.
If I wish a post to be deleted from one of my threads (which is almost never the case), I'll report it and make the request, thank you very much.
@cmartinez, is this true? The person that made that post (which was NOT cmartinez) requested that it be moved to the thread that they had meant to post it to.
If you feel that honoring such requests is arbitrary and capricious, that's on you.
Your response to that post was removed because it was no longer relevant or had any context -- and you were notified of that.
I can't recall the specific case you've mentioned. But there have been times (very few, as a matter of fact) in which my posts have been deleted (or moved) without me receiving any sort of notification.@cmartinez, is this true?
The system should automatically provide a notification when one of your posts is deleted or moved. If it fails to do that, then that is a system issue that we have no control over. There are, however, a few different ways that an action can be taken (i.e., initiated) and it is quite possible that some of them produce the automatic notification and some don't. Again, if this is the case, it is something that we have no control over.@cmartinez, is this true?
@WBahn, I was notified a post of mine was deleted, but not which one or why.
This happens often, and is frustrating.
Edit: now the notification says it was moved. I swear it didn't say that before. Maybe I'm just as insane as you all think I am.
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — A helicopter hovers over the Gee family farm, the noisy rattle echoing inside their home in this rural part of West Virginia. It’s holding surveyors who are eyeing space for yet another power line next to the property — a line that will take electricity generated from coal plants in the state to address a drain on power driven by the world’s internet hub in Northern Virginia 35 miles away.
There, massive data centers with computers processing nearly 70 percent of global digital traffic are gobbling up electricity at a rate officials overseeing the power grid say is unsustainable unless two things happen: Several hundred miles of new transmission lines must be built, slicing through neighborhoods and farms in Virginia and three neighboring states. And antiquated coal-powered electricity plants that had been scheduled to go offline will need to keep running to fuel the increasing need for more power, undermining clean energy goals.

Some new Science® backs me up:joeyd999 said:Here is what I know about CO2: It has a primary absorption peak at about 4.3 microns (IIRC). At this wavelength, 100% of IR radiation is absorbed by atmospheric CO2 within about a 6 inch optical path length. Any additional atmospheric CO2 will not absorb additional IR at this wavelength, because there is no more energy to be absorbed. There are other peaks, as well, and these are fully absorbed within a 10 meter optical path length at current conditions.
For a sufficiently large value of m, which can be achieved by increasing the concentration of the absorbing substance, the intensity of radiation becomes negligibly small. Further increasing the concentration of the gas does not contribute anything because the radiation under consideration is practically not being examined. This condition is referred to as the saturation of the absorbing substance.
I need to smoke some of that ultimate infinite energy on the Moon.

Here's a bit about Bryce, the owner of the website you linked to:To those who believe the world is going to end unless we cease the use of fossil fuels, say your prayers and get your affairs in order.
You have been fooled, and your money has been stolen. There is no Energy Transition.
