It appears 10 posts must occur before a post can be edited (if after 10 initial minutes). This would be post 4.

The report, edit and delete links should be at the bottom of posts that you wrote.
And just above the first post should be some link to edit the thread title.

Thanks eric, but it appears the system "caught up" after a while and provided the "edit", so I was able to get back in okay. I also removed the "intermediate posts" that took the post count to 10. Regards.
