Hello,

I'm making a controller for PC.
I have purchased the PCB but it is intended for a 4 pin USB connection.
My panel mount female USB type B socket has 5 wires and two grounds for some reason...
Is there special need to ground in two places or can I simply solder both black ground pins to the ground on the PCB?
I'm imagining there is something to do with shielding from RF noise or something...

Here is a crude diagram (pardon the art skills)

Just wondering if I need to clamp that extra shield wire to the inside of my aluminum control box or not.
I'm a bit confused about what is considered "host" between my input device and the desktop computer.
