I was frog gigging at night the next morning we killed a 12 foot
diamond back rattle snake.Do snakes bite at night it was killed
at the place we were at the night before.With a little salt on the
hide it last along time. I don"t like to kill animals,it was near
where a lot of kids played.

 

Snakes also like the trees. Keep your eyes open. In reality, though, most snakes don't like you any more than you like them. The species that are said to be territorial are not likely to be in Wyoming.

I met a cotton mouth snake with an attitude,he was not going to give
up his rock by the water in the sun. Like I said I don't like to kill
animals or snakes.This snake was in his environment not mind,but
I guest we have to share the space.

 

Cotton mouths are one of the species that is said to be territorial. They will attack. There are only three poisonous species in Northern Ohio (no cotton mouths). Of the three, only the copperhead is ever seen. There is however a black water snake that is not considered venomous, but it is aggressive. Makes me wonder about whether being a water snake goes with being more aggressive. In any case, I don't like snakes.

Maybe they have to find food in the water,if you get hungry
you need to get food.I guess it all about dna.I've never seen
a copper head in wild. I know they may not in so.fla,maybe north
fla. I'm a country boy so I had plenty of chances,we dammed
up the the creeks for swimming holes.Don't remember ever losing
anyone to the woods,that was the life.

 

I 've got a good one to add. Right now I am in Sweeden where the temperature is constantly on the minus side these days. We went North to Kiruna which is in the Arctic Circle and stayed in a cottage.

Took a snowmobile ride which lasted all of the afternoon, made a campfire, cooked canned raindeer and potatoes and watched the Northern lights.

...Hmmmm... maybe I should write in the Brag Thrad...

Well, here its pretty much thawed out. A little snow left where they plowed it up.
As for the trip, sounds fun (-C or F?), but I'm not sure about canned raindeer....

 

Kick the can keep your out door hobbies up to date,tennis anyone.
I give a 5 minute lesson,water sking,parasailing keep up the good work.
Ropes course any one,if you complete it you get to do the trapeze.
Your turn before we go inside an bowl 300 or sink the eight ball.

 

I'm going on a backpacking trip soon, anyone know of any parks in the midwest with great views?

Sweden looks interesting but everything looks to be frozen. It never gets that cold in Canada where I live. Many American cities are more Northerly than me.
A few hundred km away they have an ice sculpture contest.

We have an ice sculpting contest in the next town over from us. But our state's bipolar, so right now its 70 Fahrenheit while theres still some snow melting.
