The 1k resistor is a pull-up to provide a voltage mode (logic) output. So the output switches between +VCC and Gnd.Hello,
can someone please tell me the importance of 1K ohm resistor value taken during maximum operations, on the output of the optocoupler MCT2E ?
Random stuff has been happening here for a few month. It must have been one of the "improvements." My take is that not more than half of all changes make things better. That is absolute truth with operating systems, and certainly applicable to most software. In fact, it seems to apply to most of life.a bit off topic, but any ideas why i got notification that OP created this thread?
