I need a schematic or help with wiring a Westinghouse motor circa the 1930s. Mine is a clutch motor for a 1920 Singer industrial sewing machine

Pretty sure he's talking about what is commonly known as a "walking foot" type machine, since he also mentioned it has a clutch.

Many of the older machines (an some current ones!) used a Universal motor with simple variable resistance pedal.
Any of the older or even kind of newer(not withing the last 20 years or so) on industrial machines with a clutch used induction motors, They slipped the clutch, controlled by your knee, to change the speed of sewing, not a foot rheostat. The real newer ones use a BLDC motor and the same knee operated lever for speed..
