Hello everyone, I'm looking for a replacement for an old power transistor, C5215, it's used on a Sega Saturn videoconsole, I couldn't find its datasheet on the entire web , just found some sellers on aliexpress but not much else. Could anyone bring me some light?

At its side there is another power transistor, D1858
This PSU is a japanese one, input is 100VAC

hello,

on the transistor markings of japanese transistors the 2S is often ommitted.
so you have an 2SC5215 and an 2SD1858.

It was the wrong part. Bing expanded my search to include 2SC5125 and I didn't notice the transposed digits before posting. I left the datasheet for posterity...

I'd check out the circuit it's in, especially for maximum voltage and double check the pinout.

Is the transistor failed? If not completely it could be measured once removed from the circuit board which might supply some clues.

The best way is to trace out what each pin of the transistor connects to. This should allow figuring out which each pin of the
transistor is. It's a single sided circuit board -- those are easest.
