Hey guys, I have a couple RVDT's that are basically spewing out junk voltages, upon further investigation I found out it was the oscillator that was malfunctioning. The thing is I've looked everywhere for this specific type (Alibaba and Ebay included), but the part is either out of stock or about 3 to $4000 a piece. I need your guys' internet magic to help me find this part, the part number is: OSC1758-400b. If worst comes to worst I'd love too see if you guys had any other substitutes that might help me salvage these RVDT's.(It'll be really expensive to buy the RVDT's themselves, that's why I'm scavenging to find the oscillator). Any sort of help is much appreciated!

Assuming you need only the high-power output of the original oscillator, it shouldn't be a huge challenge to produce a suitable sinewave oscillator and buffer it with a power op amp, all on a surface mount board that would fit in the footprint of the original part.
Analog Devices makes a couple of monolithic LVDT signal conditions with the oscillator and output processing circuits that might be worth considering for a complete make-over if they are compatible with the RVDTs. I would suppose it might be necessary to again buffer the oscillator output if the VDT input impedance is low.
