Well, I was supposed to be picked up by hospital transportation awhile ago, but I have no clue what is going on.
My dinner hasn't arrived either.

 

Well, my dinner got here, I ate it, my sister arrived & we packed up most of the stuff, and the nurse gave me a final run-down on the meds & what I had in the way of supplies.

All packed up, and transportation should've been here 15 minutes ago.

 

5:43pm and transportation is supposedly on the way to my room.

You'll know they came if there are no updates for a few hours.

Good luck to you Wookie, I have missed you on the forum, didn't know what happened until I read this thread. I am thankfull for your present condition and hope you get back to near normal soon.
I like a number of the members of this forum had a heart attack a number a years ago. Mine was caused by stress and I have l left brance bundle block. At the time friends and people didnot think I had a heart. I fooled them ha! ha!. By way of concidence I was at the hospital over a week ago for a lot of tests, on my heart.
Once again speedy recovery and thanks for you presence on this forum.

 

I missed this thread at first, assuming it was a mundane list of FAQ responses. The shock of learning the real subject here is thankfully now mitigated by the relief of reading Sgt. Wookie's own words just two posts prior to this one.

Glad to have you back, Sgt. Wookie, the encyclopedic knowledge of electronics that you have patiently shared for the benefit of all would have been so greatly missed, and I join others in raising a glass to the medical team that has given you a new lease of life. May there be yet many, many more years of you being pestered with questions from engineers, students and hobbyists.

They have cheaper services at some of them places. What type service do you get all over the world with.

Wookie has a laptop on the way. It is scheduled to be "there" afternoon of Feb 2nd (Thurs). I would expect him to be "live" within an hour of receiving it!! He is getting stronger each day and has almost reached his lifetime quota of old Dick Van Dyke Show reruns!
