I am using the A/D of a pic16f877. the input channel is connected to the output of an opamp which ranges from: -6 to 5 volt.

I want to cut the negative range.

any suggestions?

When you say "cut" the negative voltage, do you mean you want to eliminate it? or wouldt you like to retain the info in the negative votage and re-scale so you only see positive voltage?

By the way, I have tried an opamp-741 as a buffer with its -Vcc connected to GND but the o/p showed the same negative input
