Hi i have an playstation 1 power supply that no longer wants to turn on. After a lot of diagnosing and checking parts i figured out that the base of the npn transistor is not getting any power. The transistor is working perfect, i tested it on a different board. But now i dont know what is making the power supply fail because every component tested fine. I attached the schematic in the files. i measure 6,5v after the r010 so i think thats fine but after c009 i get nothing.

Hi,
I'm doubt about the circuit diagram. What for is diode D003 which block any voltage on the Mosfet gate?
P.S. The diode blocks negative voltage, sorry.

Check transformer winding continuity with multimeter

Hi! thanks for the reply.
How do i check the transformer windings? I tested in continuity mode and i got the same results as on working power supplys.

quick update. I decided to measure the voltages and write it down in the schematic. I assume every point i measure is plus so the values are when i had the other probe to ground. Maybe this helps a little bit.

Definitely, something wrong with the transformer T001. Voltage on the pin 3 is 315V, it's OK.
On the other hand, voltage on the pin 5 is 0V. I suspect broken winding.

Check copper track continuity from pin 5 to the Mosfet Q001, too. Re-solder pin 5 and pin 3.

And, concerning circuit diagram. Winding , pins 3-5 and winding ,pins 6-7 should be two separate windings.

yea it was the transformer. One winding was burned trough. So because i cant find this transformer anywhere i decided to dissasemble it and fix the winding..... But just a big flash lol. So i think im gonna buy a new power supply. Thanks for the help

What are the voltage should be at the output of this power supply?, do you know?, or if don't know how many they are?, how many doide you have at the output?
Or the power supply have no output at all?
