I have the suspicion that the forum software sends automatically PMs when a mod deletes a post. If someone doesn't know that it is the machine talking, he might take offence in the wording.

The new moderators need to get accustomed to some good practices, such as always annotating post edits. But such things are not intrinsic. They constitute mechanics of moderation and need time to be learned. I'm sure not all of you excelled at your job in the first 3 months.

I tried to recall my memory and figure out what's going on, I can't find it on the forum, so I went back to the PM as Dick said, the result as below.

I really deleted a few posts there were reply without contents, I treated it as an Enter mistake and tried to deleted and see what will they happen, I think those must be one of your, I just thought that since they were the useless posts then I can delete it directly, probably only the system no record, during that time I still don't understand the system will send you a PM automatically, I can understand what you thought when you received the PM without any reason, what I deleted the posted messages similar as this.

The below was the normal deletion action and it was with reason "Double posts".

That's the whole story, so, if you think I was deleted the posted with messages you wrote then I have to apology for what I did, I'm sorry for that.

I can see that when I try to delete your post, but normally I just used the option 1,2, why the system has default action to send the PM to the user?

I received the notification in my Inbox. @jrap, we might have a problem here. On post deletion, the owner of the post always receives a notification in his inbox.

Yep, the system is broken. The worst thing is that the PM seems like it's written by the mod, instead of the software, and it comes across as quite spiteful.

The software of system didn't check the option function "Notify author of this action. Reason:", and the default as choose the notify function.
