Just joined the site.
I am creating an Astable circuit with two 10k connected from pin 2 n 4 to positive. NE555 IC output with LED and resistor to ground does not work when pin 2 is touched to ground. If output is connected to positive supply it glows constantly.
Wonder, whether component is damaged or require any addional components. Please assist....
