Although I don't understand it I can't listen and sit still...

They have some pretty cool piano works also...

There is something about smoking hot women head bangers...

A band I kind of forgot about until it popped up on iheart one recently...

"Tug of War" was released back in the early 80's by Paul Mccartney, featuring tracks with the likes of Chet Atkins and Stevie Wonder. Highly underrated album, in my opinion.

You order a round of beers and then hear this.

I don't even know the song, and I was still singing along!

As a parent, this song came to mind over and over as kids were growing up - acting like kids, taking risks, making their own decisions and learning lessons, growing and becoming adults and, eventually, walking away from their childhood and leaving the childish friends behind. They were fearless and still are. A great song.

I would like to see a modern music video done in this style. Everyone would probably think, until at least the middle of the video, that it was a slow intro. They would be waiting for the cut to the theatrics. Deny them that. Just give them this. The music. Their disappointment could be the message behind the lyrics they didn't listen to. Only thinkers would appreciate the song.

Before Duran-Duran, Cindy Lauper, David Bowie, Michael Jackson and Peter Gabriel, we just got music from a music video.

This one's a real classic. Sir Douglas Quintet at the Playboy After Dark, January of 1969.

Another interesting thing is that the lead man Doug Sahm was also a mentor of sorts to the teenage Stevie Ray Vaughan at one time. The latter was obviously much more of a guitar virtuoso. But you can still hear and see some similarities in style going on.
