Hey all,

I have two questions,

1. I'm looking for a board kit that has \ can contain 2K\4K image sensor with small sized pixels (lower than 2 micron). Is there any kit like that?

2. If not, any suggestion how can I build something like that from a simple, cheap ready to use tools?

3. If I want to design a board with thousands (2,000) of image sensors, can it be done? how can it be done? how the assembly can be done?

Relatively speaking. Hundreds or a few thousands of dollars, price tag, is reasonable for question number 1

 

The best I can come up with is to take apart a couple of dslr cameras.

 

Maybe you could find an "Eval Kit" from an image sensor manufacturer, but you wont find it at Digikey...

I would start there- research sensor manufacturers.

 

I need a board with microprocessor + ram + image sensor + USB that can support 200 MB per second.
Any recommendations of an off the shelf product?
