As to a motorcycle tid bit....
My bike as seen above is a 92 and like me retro. Over the years I have watched the automotive industry get into more and more complex Engine Control Units and motorcycles have followed suite. My neighbor drives a 2015 Harley Electro Glide and the wiring harness under his seat is a maze with an ECU at the heart of it. All of his lighting is LED where as mine is incandescent including the classic 1157 lamps for turn signals and brake lights. My older bike actually uses a small computer for turn and brake. Recently I wanted to update to LED and while the headlamp (Daymaker) and spots were not a problem the turn signals were. When going to LED I needed to add a "load balance module" to fake the computer into seeing an incandescent load. Load balance is just a pair of about 5.0 Ohm resistors in parallel with the turn signals. I screwed with that for hours and never did get it working right so back to incandescent I went. :) Never could get it working right. The new LED Day Maker headlight is great on the "bright" side.

Fuel injected? I would change that it not. Very nice great color, for some reason my bone yard guy a Master Harley Mechanic seems to like bikes from 93 to 2003. FYI he said to me to keep his answer simple model over 2o03 features and Engineering he doesn't like, and before 93 for similar reasons lacking in new design.

Anyway she's a beauty.

Edit: Deleted my Photobucket account. Now I'll have to find another way to past a url or image. Uploading is the only way now.

Thanks KV and nope on fuel injection, carburetors. :) The bike itself rides nice and handles well. I think the base model weighs in around 850 Lbs give or take. Actually when I looked at the bike I liked the blue color but the low mileage really sold me. Between 92 and 93 there were some major changes is the Harley design. Even for a 92 I was surprised at the electronics in the thing. :)

Here's a picture of the one I'm going to flip, Yamerhammer Maxim 750 Hardtail springer seat. I enjoy the Trans, no belt on Yamaha's.

Edit: Only paid $400 for it, the dude roached the wiring on the front tire one night.

Sweet KV, pretty cool ride in need of some work but the price was great. Fix it up and flip it. :)

I just sold my Virago 750cc same age as this bike 92 for $2k only paid $1100 purchased a set of white walls dropped 2 bills on it with a profit $700 :)

I just mentioned it to my friend Aerospace Machinist " Hey I might want to sell my bike" he told a kid he works with and bam:eek: I was out of a bike in 2 days. The kid said his grandfather rode Virago 750cc and loved it. My friend rides a Sportster 883 2003, man that things halls butt over the Virago 750:(. So, then I scanned adds for local bikes in my area and found the 86 Virago 1100cc now my friend say's he can't keep up, as soon as the power band hits I shoot out in front of him with no trouble.

I will say the ape hangers don't allow for gentle turns at low speed but I'm getting use to that.

Stay Safe,

Those Yamaha Virago bike were really some of the best bikes made. I always liked them and the Honda Shadow bikes. A Honda Shadow was my first direct drive bike, want to say that was about 30 years ago. Back in 72 while in Japan I had a Yamaha 125 Enduro and that bike was another bike I liked. Looking back now there have been so many years and bikes. :) I would like to find a nice little 350 something or another just for screwing around locally. Having a garage built this summer so another bike is not going to happen but maybe next spring and summer I'll get one.
