Hello, q12 here.
I have a Fun idea. I want this mobile screen to get white lit, like a lamp. Basically to transform it into a tiny lamp. Or like a back lit plate and on top of it to draw, you know, like copying on the window with 2 papers. Its called drawing transfer (from 1 paper to another). I want this for a very long time. I want your thoughts IF what I want is humanly possible or if it's "too hard".
I got this mobile for spare parts. My father blow soup on him, inside a bag and it was full of soup inside the mobile. I clean the screen as best as I could and I think it will be good enough.
My real question for you is HOW to get this mobile screen powered ? To make it full white.
I had another mobile screen before and I randomly played with 5V on all the tiny pins on that brown ribbon connector, and I could see and hear a tiny pop and also I could smell, my best guess a smd capacitor, or something, they are all black dots in there.
But here with this new screen, I have a second chance. This is not blown up, it was and it will, work fine if we will find the way. I also want to understand the principle of powering it up.
I dont expect it to work, it probably not work at all, but lets try anyway.
The tiny connector has 24 pins in total on 2 sides, so 12 on one side or the other.
Thank you and I hope we can make it !!!
