my cousin met a pretty lady, rushed into marrige after only a few months, and she ended up taking all she could from him

Now he's married to a schoolteacher, and she's nice as can be, he's happy as can be, just regrets the first one

Ain't that the truth! And more importantly if your woman is pretty than like all men after a couple of months you'll be bored with her look and desiring other women anyway, so "pretty" does not have much long term value at all.

But "nice" could last forever.
