I just generated a functional simulation model for a DPDT relay symbol I had previously downloaded (both attached).
It includes an approximate 15ms open and close delay to simulate the mechanical relay operation.
I'm posting it for others to use because I wasn't able to locate such a model elsewhere.
I've also posted it in the Yahoo LTspice Users Group.

Edit: The .asy file can be put in the sym/Misc folder, and the .sub file goes in the sub folder.

hi,
Run into a small problem with file naming, there is already a Switch Model in the LIB/cmp'sub folders, with files named DPDT.sub and DPDT.asy

Just rename the new files as DPDTc, or similar.
Over at ETO I suggested replacing the absolute path to the diode library with a relative path: .lib standard.dio, to allow for non-default installation locations.

Works OK,
For Old XP Pro users the (x86) entry in the .lib C:\Program Files(x86)\LTC\LTspiceIV\lib\cmp\standard.dio needs deleting in the sub file.

Okay.
Thanks for the update.
I changed the standard.dio line to relative in the sub file.

I see you have DPST.sub for download but your DPDT.asy calls for a DPDT.sub

Is this correct ?

There’s one in the relay lib at LTspice group.

Hello, I put these in their respective folders and cannot find them when I want to place them on a schematic. Seems they have to be imported or registered with the program, can you give any pointers. Thanks.
