Not when the supply is only 12 volts you would feel nothing unless maybe you stuck your tongue on it. :p
Are you saying you don't lick the leads before attaching the igniter?? The NAR handbook specifies that both leads of the igniter wires need to be licked before attaching the igniter.

The connections will certainly be quite interesting, and presently I am thinking that one side will be a constantly connected common side. THAT may lead to some interesting "interesting" issues, possibly.

One side of each igniter is a common connection see the circuit in post #58.
I don't see any thing interesting or causing any issues though.
