Hi everyone, I would appreciate any feedback on this as I am a it stuck and don’t know the right way to go about it. I determined the Boolean expression as (A@B+C@D).(E@F+G@H), is that correct? I thank you in advanced for any feedback and much appreciate.

The problem instructed you to "explain with the aid of truth tables". Show us your truth table.

Hi Dennis thank you for replying. The attached file is how far i have got so far. I wasn’t too sure where to go with gate IC4/1 Because of the feedback loop.

You need to revise your logic gate symbols. You have wrongly identified one type of gate. I am not going to tell you which on as this is a homework question.

Would it be Z1=A+B,
Too be honest I don’t have a clue, I’m guessing that if Z8=1 then Z9=0 and Q would be 0. If Z8=0 then Z9 and Q would switching all the time between 0 and 1
as it’s a NOR gate so z9= -z8+-Q

Why do you feel like you need to guess. Write the expression shown in your truth table.

As has already been pointed out; the gate in question isn't a NOR or OR gate. I assumed that you just wrote it wrong because you were using the ⊕ symbol.
