Hi Everyone,

I have a board to repair, from a LifeFitness T5 treadmill.

The machine was turned on only once and after a few minutes it stopped working. I would like to point out that I checked every single component of the board and there are no short circuits or burnt components.

Once the board is powered, it is as if a voltage pulse arrives and then it discharges/turns off and so on in a loop. Instead of 220V AC arriving at the transformer, 7V AC arrives, while if the transformer is unsoldered from the board, 220V AC arrives at the pins on the board.

I can't find the transformer anywhere with the only code that is on it and I wanted your opinion/help to track it down.

I leave you the photos of the board and the transformer and of what I believe to be a TRIAC as it is called TR1 on the board.

Thanks to anyone who can help me!

Hi,

Sorry I’m unable to answer your question but wondering whether you managed to overcome the issue? I have the exact same problem with the same PCB and looking for some help!

Thank you in advance

Hi,

It was almost a year ago but i remember that we just made a jumper wires from the main AC pads to both the transformer AC pins.

Important thing is that you need to unsolder those pins from the board and directly solder them to the AC “bridge wire”.

so the transformers pins relates to the AC should be disconnected from the board otherwise transformer will not generate voltage.

if you need any other info feel free to ask!
