Hi.
Have many of different brands, some salvaged, some not. Mostly 18650.

After charging to 4.2V in the same charger, after hours removed from charging, some stay at 4.2V, some at 4V, some at 3.7V
Have you seen that ? Why ? Does it tell anything about their health ?

No, I do not want to go to battery university site.

If the battery voltage drains with just a voltmeter connected, then do you think it can hold a load indefinitely ?
Some drain with DVM and others with a lighter load but loaded more than a DVM.
Only way to tell is load them to 1A and check for drain.
I say 1 A generally.
If you want the actual capacity you can calculate them using the battery label on the cover. I always salvage them and label them after looking at the plastic casing which the battery is housed. Capacity is a rough estimate though
