Hi. Is there an LED socket out there so I won’t have to solder my LEDs directly ? I’ve looked but I don’t have a proper name or description for them so I’m not having any luck.
I’d like to be able to switch out the color of my LEDs.

Any 2-pin connector will do. I salvage these from computers being thrown out.

 

Since LEDs last "forever" then nobody needs a socket to replace them.
I am using the socket from a battery used in a cheap Chinese wireless phone with a series resistor and 9V battery to measure LED forward voltages. The socket is junk, is intermittent and an LED soon falls out of it.
