Try posting the situation on the KLH forum section linked here:

... Without a circuit diagram or more information, you are shooting in the dark. Maybe somebody has heard of your problem previously.

 

Well I looked closer. On the board under where the caps go it shows a circle with half of it shaded, like a indicator how to position caps. And it shows them to be installed like I took them out. I do remember when I was testing the transistors voltages, two of them did show a negative reading. So I'm sure I'm just overthinking something I don't understand. Seems weird though. Oh well. Waiting on parts.
