Hello everyone,
I am trying to identify a burnt SOT-23-6 IC on a Cartographer V3 probe that was accidentally connected with reversed polarity.
After the incident, the probe still powers on and the blue LED reacts normally when metal is brought near the sensor, which suggests that at least part of the circuitry is still functional. However, the device is no longer detected over USB and it does not appear on the CAN bus.
The damaged component is located near the 5V/GND power input. There is an identical undamaged IC elsewhere on the board, and its top marking appears to be "05J" (possibly "C5J", depending on the font and viewing angle).
This is also the only component on the board that becomes noticeably hot when power is applied.
I am mainly looking for the exact part number of this IC, but any information regarding the relevant schematic, BOM, or the function of this component in the circuit would be greatly appreciated.
Photos of the board, the damaged component, and the matching IC are attached.
