Hello,

Due to supply issues I am going to have to use IRS2153(1)D vs. the previously used IR21531. I noticed in the datasheet the IRS2153(1)D does not advertise the same shutdown feature as the IR21531. The descriptions are slightly different however it just sounds like one shuts down just a half cycle sooner.
The new part reads this for shutdown;

Although it does not specifically state it would IRS2153(1)D hold both both gates low/switch off? Or would I need a pulldown resistor to switch off the gate of HO once LO was pulled low and oscillation stopped. I am guessing the change in description is that now it is standard practice to have the low voltage shutoff featured.
