Hi, I need to identify this smd component on the picture, white smd, not sure if its a capacitor or resistor, and also how can know the value..

The board is a usb HDTV tuner, the metal connector is the antenna end

I would say that it's a capacitor, don't know what value, probably pF .

 

Agree on capacitor but the value can only be a wild guess without a schematic 'cos they are not marked.

 

Is the component suspect?
Remove it and fit one with some legs, in the pf range as suggested above. I'm sure its not critical.
