Need help in identifying the component. The label on the component is F at the top, the next line is RX10F and the last line is 65CB. The identifying label on the board is PTC1. The part looks like a 2 lead capacitor but other capacitors on the board are labeled with a C. Any ideas?

As the board is marked PTC (positive temperatre coefficent) device, that ID's it.
The component looks OK, what is the need for the ID?

Just learning about the circuit. What is the function of a "positive temperature coefficient device". Is it a resister type fuse or a capacitor type fuse or what? Thanks for the reply.

AlbertHall, I was unable to open the datasheet you sent. Does this thing have an automatic reset internal cause nothing shows from the outside.?
