IDC/IDT Connector Data Speed?

Hi all,

I want to customize the RPi camera a little bit so that it can use general IDC/IDT cable to transfer its data. Assuming I had atleast one ground wire in between each data lane to prevent crosstalk, will the connector (or the ribbon cable) itself affect the data speed of the CSI interface?
