Good to hear that you are safe.Not bad for us. Since Harvey we've moved about an hour north of Houston proper and just got some rain off the first rain band that she threw before coming ashore. Virtually no rainfall in Houston proper. Galveston was not hit too bad, not much damage. It looks like most people in Beaumont and the target area got out of the way. One death AFAIK from a tree falling into a house and the expected wind damage. Unlike Harvey which stalled and pumped 4.5 feet of rain onto Houston, Laura moved through pretty fast. As bad as she was, it looks like the early precautions and evacuations plus a little luck paid off. Lessons learned.
